New Build

This substantial house sits on the bank of the River Test, which is a lovely setting but due to the high ground water level presented us with challenging foundation and drainage designs that we had to implement.

One wall of the existing house was retained and incorporated into the new house so we had to retain this temporarily with a supporting scaffold erected in the river all under the supervision of the various relevant stakeholders and agencies to make sure the river carrier was kept clear and uncontaminated etc.
